Thomas E Rohan
Tom Rohan, M.B., B.S., Ph.D., is Chairman of the Department of Epidemiology and Population Health at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, Associate Director for Population Sciences in the Albert Einstein Cancer Center, and the Harold and Muriel Block Chair in Epidemiology and Population Health. His work focuses on the role of genetic/molecular, nutritional, and hormonal factors in the etiology and pathogenesis of a wide range of cancers, and he has published more than 370 papers, book chapters, and books, on these topics. In recent work, he has focused on the role of Tumor Microenvironment of Metastasis, a microanatomic landmark indicative of tumor cell intravasation, as a prognostic marker in breast cancer.
