Peggy Briggs
Peggy Briggs (RN) is a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Oncology Coordination for Western Australia Country Health Service (WACHS) and is based in Perth. She has worked in nursing since 1996 and has been a cancer nurse for approximately 18yrs. She has extensive experience in clinical cancer nursing, leadership, management and undergraduate and workplace training. She assumed her current position in 2011 providing cancer care coordination for country people travelling to Perth for cancer investigations and treatments. She played a major role in implementing the Febrile Neutropenia Alert Card into chemotherapy wards and units Perth. Peggy is a member of the Cancer Nurses Society of Australia and Clinical Oncology Society of Australia.
